There are many diseases in the Sahara due to the fact that it is located in Africa and there is a limited supply of clean water there. This is why i say bring your own water. There are many land and water borne diseases. Some that you may get on land are yellow fever, pengue, malaria, and African trypanosomnaggis.
Some water borne diseases you can find are chlorea, typhoid, hepatitis A & B, and dracunculisis.
When you go to visit the Sahara Desert, I suggest that you get shots for these diseases first so that you don't get infected with them while you are on your visit.
